Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | 40 hrs/week | 13-Week Assignment | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Float between Nuclear Medicine and PET departments as needed to support both direct and indirect patient care
• Perform 10+ Nuclear Medicine procedures per day and 12–14 PET/CT studies per day
• Conduct top procedures including whole-body bone scans, lung scans, gastric emptying, renal scans, HIDA scans, thyroid uptake and scan, thyroid whole-body scans, DaTscan brain scans, lymphoscintigraphy, parathyroid scans, FDG PET, and specialty PET
• Operate GE and Siemens imaging equipment
• Participate in on-call coverage: one weekday per week (4:30 PM–10:00 PM) and one weekend per month (Saturday–Sunday, 7:00 AM–10:00 PM), with potential for one holiday callback during the contract
• Perform indirect patient care duties including patient reminder calls

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience required; 3–5+ years preferred
• Proficiency in both General Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3–5 or more years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
• Experience with GE and/or Siemens Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT equipment
• Familiarity with a high-volume, academic medical center environment
