General Adjunct Instructors

Position Type: Part‑Time/Temporary/Adjunct Date Posted: 6/14/2022 Metro Technology Centers is accepting applications for Adjunct Instructors who will be responsible for training and development of program components, course outlines and classroom plans. Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent Common Essential Job Functions for All ACD Instructors Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and experience in the appropriate subject matter. Instruct students in competency‑based program curriculum using current instructional strategies appropriate to the subject matter to assure highest quality classroom instruction. Effectively manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment. Maintain up‑to‑date records of student attendance, academic progress and grades as required by district policy and certification/regulatory agencies. Ensure syllabus, supply list and lesson plans are current prior to each class taught. Demonstrate effective people skills, communication skills and professionalism (i.e. – prepared, reliable, responsible, punctual, etc.). Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the mission and goals of Metro Tech’s ACD program. Participate in professional development opportunities as required by the ACD department.
