Director of Nursing (DON) Responsibilities

• Oversee daily nursing operations and clinical services
• Ensure high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance
• Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff and department managers
• Collaborate with physicians, therapy, administration, and interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor clinical outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives
• Assist with staff development, education, and retention efforts
• Foster a positive and patient-centered clinical culture

Qualifications

• Active California RN license
• Previous leadership experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred
• Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Passion for mentoring teams and improving patient outcomes
