• Candidates MUST BE OPEN TO 2nd (3pm to 11:30pm) and 3rd shift (11pm to 7:30am). (Monday - Friday)
• This position will MOST LIKELY be 3rd shift. Candidate will be trained on 1st and moved to off shift.
• Installing, removing, and monitoring test vehicles on a chassis dynamometer, this includes portable test equipment.
• Receive an assignment and communicate with last shift.
• Install and remove vehicle from chassis.
• Work with non-intrusive robots.
• Working outside - out door work required to set up sets, fuel vehicles .
• Set up test and monitor test
• Collect data
• No tools required for this position

Please Note:

• Outdoors: 20-25% of the time spent outdoors in covered/protective areas, the company provides outerwear for outdoor work.
• Outdoor work includes fueling and checking oil, checking fluids, test prep, test set up, robotics set up.
• Positions will be 2nd or 3rd shift

Additional Details:

• Once test is running, technicians monitor tests from the control room.
• A large portion of time is spent monitoring tests.
• Other tasks include maintenance on robots.
• Training in provided.
• Will be trained on INCA tools, data acquisition equipment and the robotics used to drive the vehicle.
• The purpose of this team is putting miles on vehicles.
• Engineers need to perform testing at certain mileages, this team puts miles on cars so the engineers can perform their tests.
• This operation runs, 24/7. special tests, durability, taking weeks off calibrations. 150,000 miles before emissions.
• Support various teams for durability, calibration
• Developing for virtualization, putting in new dynos, lab is expanding, investment. Program driving expansion - certification requires

Work Site Description:

• Outdoor Chassis Dyno Lab.
• Control Room is indoor, but outdoor operations required at times.
• Physical Required

Requirements:

• High School diploma
• Mechanical aptitude
• Interest in learning about vehicle testing

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of MILFORD, MI.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in MILFORD,MI.
