Registered Nurse

The role involves providing care for patients in an intensive care unit setting. Nurses are expected to float to different areas as needed. The shift will consist of 12-hour night shifts. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU. Experience in handling patients with a 2:1 patient to nurse ratio is required. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications are mandatory. A valid nursing license is essential for consideration. Previous charge experience is preferred but not required. Candidates should be skilled in accessing and managing ports, as well as administering blood products. Experience with ventilated patients and central line management is important. Candidates should be proficient in monitoring vital signs and interpreting arterial blood gases. A commitment to infection prevention practices is necessary. The ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams is crucial for patient care. Nurses are responsible for the management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction. All candidates must confirm their COVID-19 vaccination and booster status upon submission. This position requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Prior travel nursing experience within the last 12 months is preferred.
