We are committed to rewarding top performers, offering very competitive pay and benefits, and providing tremendous career development opportunities.We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to fill the position of **Boilermaker** within our Pasadena Plant located in **Pasadena, TX**.**Essential Job Duties:*** Maintain protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the communities in which we operate and/or transport our products, as our highest priority.* Must have the ability to distinguish and understand the different types of valves and actuators* Working knowledge of heat exchangers and how to disassemble, pressure test and reassemble various types of heat exchangers* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans* Attach rigging, assist crane operator, welders* Detect problems with machines and equipment* Must be able to rig and move heavy steel* Must be able to work in confined spaces, work at heights, climb ladders and stairways and work from platforms* Must have good manual dexterity and experience using industrial hand tools and power tools.* Responsibilities listed are representative and not all-inclusive; additional duties may be assigned as needed.**Qualifications:*** High School Diploma or GED* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Boilermaker activities in an industrial environment* NCCER Certification prior to employment* Must be able to read process flow diagrams, P&IDs, mechanical drawings and follow mechanical specifications* Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed to maintain a 24/7 operating plant* Ability to read, speak, and write English* Have a valid driver’s license required* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Excellent interpersonal skills include the ability to work as part of a team.**Additional Desired Qualifications*** Good working knowledge of SAP.* Must be able to lift 40 lbs, climb ladders and stairs.* Walking, bending, stooping is required.* Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including the use of a respirator.* Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.
