This position is responsible for providing prescription verification and pharmacy expertise in a fulfillment center to ensure patients receive the highest levels of quality and service. Fulfillment Center Pharmacist Compensation

• Pay Rate: $60–$65 per hour, depending on experience
• Location: 6275 Winchester Boulevard, Canal Winchester, OH 43110
• Employment Type: Full-time

Fulfillment Center Pharmacist Schedule

The Fulfillment Center Pharmacist will work a rotating evening schedule, with all shifts running from 5:45 PM to 1:45 AM.

• Week 1: Monday–Friday
• Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
• Week 3: Sunday–Thursday

The three-week schedule rotation repeats.

Fulfillment Center Pharmacist Responsibilities

• Perform prescription verification and data review, taking appropriate action to ensure medication accuracy and appropriateness.
• Review, interpret, and accurately dispense prescribed medications within the pharmacy workflow.
• Support efficient pharmacy operations and identify opportunities to improve financial performance, inventory management, and processes that promote safe, high-quality output.
• Maintain current knowledge of pharmacy technology systems, including workflow management, prescription fulfillment, clinical documentation, training, and inventory management.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Respond to pharmacy staff and leadership requests for information and policy interpretation.
• Provide clear feedback and coaching to pharmacy staff to support compliance with policies and procedures, particularly those related to quality and accuracy.
• Address questions, communications, and issues related to prescription fulfillment processes within the micro-fulfillment center.
• Follow established guidelines and procedures to meet operational goals.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including HIPAA requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.

Fulfillment Center Pharmacist Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Active Ohio pharmacist license.
• Strong knowledge of prescription verification, pharmacy regulations, and medication dispensing practices.
• Experience with pharmacy technology systems and workflow management tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Fulfillment Center Pharmacist Preferred Qualifications

• Previous pharmacist experience in retail, mail order, specialty pharmacy, fulfillment center, or pharmacy operations.
• Experience in a micro-fulfillment center, central fill, mail order, or specialty pharmacy setting.
• Experience supporting pharmacy operations and workflow optimization initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and pharmacy quality assurance processes.
• Previous experience coaching or mentoring pharmacy staff.
