Jefferson City & Eldon, MO

• $16 - 18 per hour, based on experience and skill level; with opportunity for up to $2 raise within the first year

• Sunday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Start Date: Immediate opening – needed by July 31!

This assignment includes a variety of homes, making each week rewarding and different.

Some clients are outgoing and genuinely enjoy conversation, shared meals, and having someone to brighten their day.

Others prefer a quieter environment and appreciate a caregiver who is calm, respectful, and proactive, someone who notices what needs to be done without being asked and provides support in a gentle, reassuring manner.

The ideal caregiver understands behaviors and symptoms of dementia and advancing Alzheimer's. They remain professional, redirect conversation confidently, and continue providing compassionate care without taking anything personally.

• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement
• Assist with personal care and showering
• Support safe mobility and fall prevention
• Prepare nutritious meals and organize leftovers
• Medication reminders
• Grocery shopping and errands
• Transportation to appointments and community outings
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Encourage hydration, daily routines, and independence

• Previous professional caregiving experience is a MUST
• CLEAR CRIMINAL BACKGROUND
• Experience with personal care and shower assistance
• Experience assisting clients who use walkers
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance is REQUIRED
• Comfortable transporting clients
• Strong cooking and meal preparation skills
• Comfortable working in homes with cats and dogs
