Accounts Receivable Specialist

Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist / Collections Pay: $28–$32/hour Location: Orange County, CA Type: Contract – long term (potential to convert) What you’ll do: Own the full AR cycle (invoicing, cash application, collections) for a high-volume service-based portfolio. Lead outreach on past-due accounts while keeping strong client relationships. Resolve billing issues like disputes, short pays, and discrepancies. Communicate with customers by phone/email. Partner with internal teams to fix billing concerns, maintain accurate aging, and support AR reporting + month-end close. What you need: 5+ years AR/Collections experience (service environment preferred), strong collections/dispute resolution skills, ERP/accounting system exposure (NetSuite/SAP/Oracle/QuickBooks or similar), solid Excel (lookups/pivots a plus), confident communicator who can work independently.
