Join our senior living dining team as a Host/Hostess - Server and help create a warm, enjoyable dining experience from the moment residents and guests arrive until the end of their meal.

This position combines the personal connection of a Host/Hostess with the attentive service of a Server . You'll welcome residents, help organize the dining room, assist with seating, support meal service, and help ensure every guest feels recognized, comfortable, and cared for.

What You'll Do

• Warmly greet residents, families, and guests as they arrive
• Help manage dining-room seating and guest flow
• Learn residents' names, preferences, routines, and seating needs
• Help ensure tables are ready before residents are seated
• Communicate special requests and resident needs to the dining and culinary teams
• Provide prompt, friendly, and courteous table service
• Take meal orders and serve food and beverages
• Maintain proper table settings
• Clear, clean, and reset tables between meal periods
• Assist residents and guests with menu questions
• Use the Point of Sale system accurately
• Assist with special events and functions
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining room
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and service standards
• Step in where needed to support the dining team

The Server job description specifically includes courteous service, table setup, clearing and resetting tables, special functions, positive resident relations, safe food handling, and accurate POS use.

The Host/Hostess Side of the Role

The Host/Hostess helps set the tone for the entire dining experience .

We're looking for someone who notices when a resident arrives, welcomes them by name, helps them find the right table, communicates special needs to the team, and keeps the dining room organized and flowing smoothly.

A great Host/Hostess doesn't simply point someone toward a table - they create a welcoming first impression and help make the dining room feel like a place residents look forward to visiting.

The Server job description calls for someone who can work with older adults in a courteous and friendly manner while demonstrating patience and compassion. Applicants must be at least 16 years old; related experience and a Food Handler certificate are preferred.
