Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse for a travel assignment at a leading cardiac and vascular surgical center in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have strong Cardiovascular Operating Room experience and be comfortable supporting complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Assist with complex cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout surgical procedures
• Support procedures including CABG, TAVR, aneurysm repairs, thoracotomy, VATS, carotid procedures, and vascular bypass surgeries
• Float within facility and scope of practice as needed, including Main OR support
• Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR RN experience required
• Active GA or Compact RN License required at time of submission
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• Experience with:
  • CABG
  • TAVR
  • Mitral Valve Replacement
  • Aortic Aneurysm Repair
  • Carotid Procedures
  • Femoral Popliteal Bypass
  • Thoracotomy
  • VATS
  • Vascular and Thoracic surgeries
• Epic experience required
