Team Lead

Responsibilities Complete and assign work‑specific activities to team members and provide direction, guidance, and training. Resolve complex work‑related issues by establishing strong relationships with internal and external customers. Ensure team members complete necessary assignments on time and maintain outstanding customer service. Assign activities based on skill level and perform quality audits, recording and tracking results. Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports to ensure quality measurement goals are achieved. Control flow of work to/from other departments and compile team productivity and quality reports. Work with supervisor/manager to identify productivity/performance issues and recommend improvements. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or GED. At least 3 years of business experience, including 6 months in a brokerage industry or customs brokerage environment. Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills. Ability to maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers. Ability to train and motivate team members to ensure optimal workflow productivity. Preferred Qualifications The shift for this position is 9 p.m. – 5:30 a.m., Monday–Friday with a Sunday rotation. This role is variable remote, with some work‑from‑home opportunity and some in‑office work, dependent on company policy. Currently offering a temporary $3.00/hr pay premium during a surge in volume, subject to removal with 30 days notice. Mandatory overtime may be required during periods of high volume. Additionally, working on company‑recognized holidays may be necessary.
