This is an exciting entry-level opportunity to join our growing quality team! As a Quality Technician Level 1, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high quality of our products. You will perform a variety of inspections, tests, and analyses, contributing directly to our commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality control inspections of incoming materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
  • Perform testing and calibration of equipment and instruments to ensure accuracy.
  • Identify and document defects, using data analysis techniques to track trends and patterns.
  • Perform root cause analysis to determine the underlying causes of quality issues.
  • Develop and implement problem-solving strategies to prevent defects and improve processes.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports using the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Apply SPC (Statistical Process Control) methods to monitor and improve process capability.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality management system standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve quality-related issues.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.

Experience

  • Entry-level position; prior experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment is a plus but not required.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Basic understanding of quality control principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SPC (Statistical Process Control).
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
  • Experience with root cause analysis techniques.

Physical Requirements/Work Conditions

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 25 pounds.
  • May involve working in a manufacturing environment with potential exposure to noise and machinery.
