Position Summary
Freestone Lake & Golf Club is a growing development, and we are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead operations within our high-end dining environment. The ideal candidate is a service-driven leader with a passion for excellence, a strong operational mindset, and the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team. This role is based in Fairfield, Texas and reports to the Food and Beverage Director.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of management experience in the hospitality industry (food and beverage strongly preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related business systems
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, revenue generation, and cost control
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive informed decisions
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily restaurant operations and the full guest experience from arrival to departure
- Hire, train, and supervise front-of-house and assist with back-of-house team members
- Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and implement financial controls to maximize profitability and minimize waste
- Maintain vendor relationships, oversee inventory, and ensure consistent operational efficiency
- Partner with leadership to enhance the restaurant's atmosphere, service standards, and overall guest experience
- Support marketing and branding initiatives to promote the restaurant and club offerings
- Coach and develop staff to deliver exceptional service; ensure reservation and seating systems operate effectively
- Address guest inquiries and resolve concerns to ensure a high-quality dining experience
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with culinary leadership to support menu execution and efficient kitchen operations

- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments
