Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as General Production Workers. In this role, you will be responsible for palletizing and shrink wrapping products, cleaning and sanitizing workstations, and moving product/material using a manual pallet jack. You will also weigh products before they are brought to the warehouse and read and record digital weights on a small scale. This position requires physical strength as you will be moving filled bags weighing up to 50 lbs, and pushing and pulling bowls weighing up to 1,000 lbs on wheels. Safety is a priority, and you will be part of a team-oriented environment.

• Palletize and shrink wrap products.
• Clean and sanitize workstations.
• Move product/material with manual pallet jack.
• Weigh products before transportation to the warehouse.
• Read and record digital weights on a small scale.
• Move bags weighing up to 50 lbs, with assistance for heavier loads.
• Push and pull bowls weighing up to 1,000 lbs on wheels.
• Maintain adherence to safety and good manufacturing practices.

• Experience in general labor, construction, manufacturing, or a similar environment within the last 5 years.
• At least 1 year of continuous employment with the same company in the last 5 years.
• Ability to stand for 8-12 hours.

• Production line experience.
• Knowledge of assembly and packaging processes.
• Experience in food production and manufacturing.

Work in a small-town, family-like environment with 30 full-time employees. Safety and adherence to GMPs are crucial. Dress code includes steel-toed boots, hair net, eye protection, jeans, shirt, bump cap, and lab coat. The facility maintains high cleanliness standards, with restrictions on smoking, perfume, jewelry, and clothing embellishments. Temperatures can reach 90 degrees in summer, but remain comfortable in winter. Orientation is completed on-site in 3-4 hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albert Lea, MN.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
