Caregiver Position in Katy Area

We have an immediate opening for a client in the Katy area. Caregiver must have a heart and passion in caring for seniors. Client is an older male. The family would also like assistance with household tasks like laundry, light house cleaning, incontinence care, meal prep, bathing, cooking, and some companion care. Must be vaccinated as per the client. Serious applicants apply.

Salary: $11 - $14 per hour based on experience

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctors appointments, walks, grocery shopping, etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving

Qualifications

• Enjoy giving clients the above and beyond "wow" factor
• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Pleasant and customer-friendly, self-starter, organized, and able to manage tasks efficiently on your own
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 Year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Experience as a Caregiver (CNA preferred)
• Take pride in providing high-quality care
