Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianAs a Maintenance Technician, you will perform scheduled preventative maintenance on recycling equipment, including balers, conveyors, shredders, sorting screens, optical sorters, eddy currents, and roll stock machinery. You will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, and conducting minor repairs and adjustments to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Collaboration with operations staff to identify equipment issues and recommend preventative solutions is crucial. You will also read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and PLC instructions, support the installation and setup of new equipment, and coordinate with vendors on maintenance schedules. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
