Concrete Project Manager

Project Manager – Concrete ConstructionA well-established, nationwide concrete contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing team. This role is ideal for a construction professional with a strong background in self-perform concrete construction, estimating, project management, and cost control.The company works on large-scale projects across a variety of markets, including commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, education, semiconductor, and data center construction.The Project Manager will have ownership of projects from preconstruction and estimating through project execution and closeout, working closely with clients, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal operations.ResponsibilitiesManage concrete construction projects from preconstruction through final closeoutPrepare and review detailed estimates, takeoffs, budgets, and proposalsIdentify and quantify concrete scope and develop project execution strategiesReview contracts, establish project budgets, cost codes, and schedulesDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecastsCoordinate with field operations to ensure projects are properly staffed, scheduled, and executedMonitor labor, material, equipment, and production costs against project budgetsReview daily job cost reports and take corrective action when necessaryManage RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, change orders, and other project documentationDevelop and negotiate change orders based on project scope and customer requirementsCommunicate project status, financial performance, schedule updates, and potential issues to leadership and clientsWork closely with Project Leads, Superintendents, estimators, and field personnel to ensure project goals are metMaintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendorsIdentify project risks, solutions, and opportunities throughout the construction processEnsure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to contract requirementsLead the project closeout process, including final documentation, punch list, and financial reconciliationQualifications5+ years of construction project management and/or estimating experienceExperience with a self-performing General Contractor or concrete contractorConcrete construction experience requiredStrong background managing commercial and/or industrial concrete projectsExperience managing projects valued at $1M+Strong understanding of construction processes, cost control, scheduling, and project administrationPrevious experience performing estimates, quantity takeoffs, bids, and proposalsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentsStrong communication, organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and OutlookBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field requiredWhat This Opportunity OffersOpportunity to manage large-scale, complex concrete projectsExposure to diverse markets including industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, and data centersBacking of an established contractor with a large national presenceCareer growth opportunities within a growing organizationCollaboration with experienced project management and field operations teamsAbility to play a significant role in project strategy, financial performance, and execution
