Phlebotomist

Kaiser Permanente is looking for a phlebotomist to join their team! This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and gain extensive experience! CA Phlebotomy license is required.

Requirements:

• Valid California CPT License
• Ability to work any shift, any day of the week from 4am-11pm
• 6+ months of inpatient or outpatient blood draw experience

Job Description:

• Preparing patients before drawing blood
• Explaining blood draw procedures to patients and answering any questions about the process
• Following all health and safety protocols and procedures to maintain sanitary work areas
• Gathering medical testing materials, including needles, sample vials, blood storage bags and test tubes
• Accurately updating patient information in the organization database
• Working with supervising physicians and following their directions at all times
• Receives specimens for other cases when delivered to the Laboratory

This is a Contract position based out of Harbor City, CA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
