Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring 2+ years of telemetry experience and an active RN license, OK or compact.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week (7p-7a)
• Required to work every other weekend and holidays
• Floating required to sister facilities within a 75-mile radius as needed
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license (OK or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• EKG Course/Telemetry test certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• No pending state license accepted
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients including cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and telemetry remote monitoring
• Skills include IV therapy, central and PICC line management, respiratory care, wound care, and insulin drip titration
• Block scheduling requests are not accommodated
• Maximum RTO of 5 days per 13-week assignment, with no holiday RTO accepted
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• Previous INTEGRIS employees must have at least 1 year of separation from the health system to be eligible
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
