Key Responsibilities What You’ll Do: Handle inbound and outbound calls from patients and referral sources — aiming for one‑call resolution Steward patient accounts from initial contact through final approval or denial with urgency and care Create and complete accurate referrals and applications; stay current on policy and procedural changes Investigate and resolve patient and physician inquiries and concerns in a timely manner Enter detailed information into proprietary software systems while conversing via telephone Place outbound calls for patient follow‑ups and confirmations Report adverse events within required timeframes Educate patients on their options and guide them through processes in clear, plain language Prioritize multiple concurrent assignments while maintaining quality and an empathetic patient experience Requirements What You’ll Bring: Required: 1–3 years of experience in a related field Pharmacy experience High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience Preferred: Customer service or call‑center experience Knowledge of Medicare (A/B/C/D), Medicaid, and commercial payer policies Familiarity with medical, supplemental, and pharmacy insurance benefit practices Understanding of diagnostic medical expense and Medicare Administrative Contractor practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with patients, caregivers, and providers Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating flexibility, persistence, creativity, empathy, and trust Proficiency in MS Office and data entry, with strong computer literacy Benefits & Pay Why You’ll Love This Opportunity: 100% Remote – Work from home.
