Warehouse WorkerReceives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments by performing the following duties.Location: Jonesboro, ArkansasPay: $16.00 - $18.00 an hr.Essential Job Functions include the following, other activities may be assigned:Reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.Conveys materials and items from receiving to storage or to job siteWork as a team to meet desired sales goals and distribution levels, while following all safety procedures and guidelines.Job Duties must perform the following duties in order to achieve essential job functions, other duties may be assigned:Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.Prepares material for shipment and takes proper care of all equipment.Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock itemsRecords amounts of materials or items received or distributed.Gathers materials from tickets for customers from stock and loads orders on customer's vehicle or delivery truck, and has all customers sign completed orders.Operates forklift in order to transport items for storage and to pick up items from several locations for shipment.Performance Behaviors To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following performance behaviors:Professionalism - Approaches others in a tactful manner; Reacts well under pressure; Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; Accepts responsibility for own actions; Follows through on commitments.Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED).Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
