Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Night Shift CVICU position requiring fresh heart experience and FL or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) department of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• 10-week assignment length
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience required
• Fresh heart experience required
• Cerner or Epic charting experience required
• Rated 3 or 4 on the cardiovascular section of the ICU skill list
• References required

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to cardiovascular ICU patients
• Requested time off (RTO) limited to no more than 10 days, with no RTO during the first or last week of the assignment
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 12 months before returning as a traveler
