Description Veterinary Technician – Hurst, TX Thrive Pet Healthcare – Hurst is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our supportive, patient-focused team. This is a hands‑on clinical role ideal for technicians who enjoy working collaboratively, delivering excellent patient care, and being part of a positive, team‑oriented hospital environment. What You’ll Do Assisting veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures Supporting anesthesia, surgical assisting, and post‑operative care Preparing patients and surgical instruments for procedures Monitoring anesthetic patients (ASA I–III) Collecting laboratory samples and performing in‑house diagnostics Operating digital radiography and advanced diagnostic equipment Administering medications and treatments as prescribed Accurately documenting patient histories and medical records Maintaining clean, organized, and sterile treatment, exam, and lab areas Using safe restraint techniques to ensure patient and team safety Working collaboratively with technicians, assistants, and doctors to support smooth patient flow What We’re Looking For Preferred Experience & Skills Minimum 2 years of veterinary technician experience CVT/LVT/RVT credentials encouraged Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical assisting Strong attention to detail and clinical observation skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Comfort working in a fast‑paced, high‑quality general practice You’ll Thrive Here If You Are Compassionate and patient‑focused Reliable, organized, and proactive A strong team player who enjoys collaboration and learning About the Hospital At Thrive Pet Healthcare – Hurst, we offer primary care services for cats and dogs in Hurst, Euless, Bedford, TX, and the surrounding cities.
