Travel Physical Therapist Opportunity

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Current WV license
• Prior physical therapy experience
• HCHB experience

Assignment Details

• Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
• No on call
• Coverage area includes Mercer and McDowell counties
• Productivity requirement: 30 productivity points

Location Highlights

Bluefield, West Virginia offers access to outdoor recreation and regional travel routes in a mountain setting. Pinnacle Rock State Park is about 10 miles from Bluefield and features hiking trails and a sandstone formation that overlooks the surrounding ridges. The city sits near East River Mountain and is within driving distance of the Hatfield-McCoy Trails, a well-known ATV trail system with multiple access points in southern West Virginia. Downtown Bluefield includes the Historic Granada Theater and the Bluefield Arts Center, while U.S. Route 460 and Interstate 77 provide regional access toward Beckley and the Virginia border.
