What You Will Do

• Surface Preparation: Expertly prep wood surfaces, including sanding, filling, and smoothing, to ensure a flawless canvas for finishing.

• Custom Finishing: Apply high-quality stains, lacquers, glazes, paints, and clear coats to custom millwork, cabinetry, and architectural trim.

• Color Matching: Match existing finishes and mix custom colors to meet the exact specifications of our high-end clientele.

• Quality Control: Inspect all finished pieces for imperfections, ensuring every piece of millwork meets Machin Home Renovations' rigorous quality standards before installation.

• Shop Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized finishing area, ensuring all spray equipment and tools are properly cleaned and functioning.

What You Need (Requirements)

• Experience: Roughly 10+ years of dedicated, professional experience in millwork finishing, cabinet finishing, or high-end furniture restoration.

• Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of various wood species and how they react to different finishing products and techniques.

• Equipment Proficiency: Highly skilled in operating and maintaining professional-grade HVLP spray systems and traditional hand-finishing tools.

• Attention to Detail: An uncompromising commitment to quality and a sharp eye for color accuracy and finish consistency.

• Reliability: A strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to manage your time effectively to meet project deadlines.
