Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

Registered Nurse – Obstetrics

Varied shifts; candidates must be flexible. Must work 80 hours every 2 weeks, preferably nights.

Two positions available, starting on specific dates.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, NRP, STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring.
• Experience in managing antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and high-risk patients.
• Ability to perform adult and neonatal IVs, Accu checks, phototherapy, and newborn assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for laboring patients, including monitoring and responding to fetal heart rates.
• Assist in C-sections, patient recovery, and postpartum care.
• Administer medications and fluids, including Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate.
• Manage care for well babies and those needing special care in the nursery.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and quality care.
