Registered Nurse - CVOR

$2325.60/week - Job Summary: Seeking an experienced RN for the CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) at a Level II Trauma Center. The position involves providing specialized perioperative care for cardiac surgery patients in a dynamic hospital environment. Responsibilities: Perform preoperative assessments and prepare patients for cardiovascular surgeries. Assist surgical teams during procedures such as CABG and valve replacements. Monitor and respond to patient vitals and status throughout the surgical process. Adhere to unit protocols and policies to ensure patient safety and quality care. Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records, including Meditech. Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure smooth operative workflows. Qualifications: Must have a minimum of 5+ years CVOR experience. Hold a current RN license and CPR certification. Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech electronic medical records. Possess previous main OR experience and flexibility to float to main OR. Able to work the specified shift schedule and participate in call rotations.
