Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Cardiac Care

SCHEDULE
4x10.0-805233
40 hours per week - 4 ten-hour shifts with occasional weekends as per unit need.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week

REQUIREMENTS
- RN License (New York only)
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- ACLS Certification (AHA)
- Recent experience in CVICU/Cardiac Care or PACU required
- Telemetry experience required
- Cath Lab experience preferred

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct patient care and procedural support in both acute and non-acute settings.
- Assist in pre and post-procedure care as well as PACU recovery for cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Monitor patients' cardiovascular status and provide telemetry support.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and post-procedural care.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the cardiac care department.
