Project Engineer - Commercial Construction

A well-established and reputable Commercial General Contractor has an immediate need for a proven Project Engineer to join their growing organization! This is a great opportunity to work with a stable local company that has been in business for over 20 years providing General Contracting, Construction Management and Design/Build services for select clients. They specialize in ground-up construction and renovations in various market sectors.

This is not for a contract hire, but a long-term career as they have an extensive backlog of upcoming projects. Ideal candidates will have an energetic attitude and approach to construction, enjoy working with others, and want to be a part of building something great!

Qualifications:

* Must be fully authorized to work in the United States
* Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Estimating or related field highly preferred
* Two (2) plus years of commercial construction experience with preference for commercial or healthcare projects
* Well organized, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
* Previous field experience in construction is a plus
* Strong math and Office software skills

Responsibilities:

* Contract administration - owner contracts and subcontracts
* Formulate scopes of work
* Document control including daily job diaries, updating record drawings, managing submittal process, managing RFI process, and dissemination of information
* Run weekly owner, architect, contractor construction meetings including minutes of meetings and other necessary documentation
* Conduct on-going reviews with Project Management to identify and resolve any potential obstacles
