Utility Driver

Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking motivated and reliable Drivers to join our team. In this role, you will start as a full-time fill-in utility driver covering open and vacation routes until a dedicated route becomes available. This position is an excellent entry point with opportunities for advancement to a Route Service Representative position.

Key Responsibilities

Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up linens from customer locations.
Serve as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring excellent service and satisfaction.
Load and unload products following established safety guidelines.
Accurately complete required paperwork and maintain delivery records.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve basic issues in a professional manner.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance of vehicle and self.
Follow all safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Acceptable criminal background check (No felonies).
Ability to pass a drug test and DOT physical.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Positive attitude, professional appearance, and demeanor.
Basic math skills for order verification and billing accuracy.
Must 25 years or older

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry 50-75 lbs. on a routine basis.
Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy loads.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions during deliveries.

Schedule

Monday–Friday
Occasional Saturday Work during holidays.
