Software Development Manager

Leading a team in a remote environment, the full-time Software Development Manager will oversee the software development life cycle (SDLC), manage engineering execution against the product roadmap, and provide technical leadership for a next-generation tolling and intelligent transportation platform. Key responsibilities Manage and enhance the SDLC process, including planning, estimation, development, code review, testing, release, and maintenance Set quarterly goals for direct reports and conduct performance reviews while providing coaching and mentoring for their career development Own engineering capacity planning and staffing in collaboration with product leadership, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software Required qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree desired 5+ years of engineering management experience leading software development teams 10+ years of software development experience, including SDLC management Strong technical background in web application development and distributed/cloud systems Experience in tolling, intelligent transportation systems, or mission-critical transaction systems is a plus
