This role involves working in a neonatal intensive care unit within a supportive and high-tech hospital environment, utilizing advanced equipment such as Servo U ventilators and heliox therapy systems.

Key Responsibilities of the NICU Respiratory Therapist

• Independently admit and manage vented patients in Peds ICU using Servo U ventilator
• Setup and manage heliox therapy through invasive and non-invasive measures
• Utilize non-invasive ventilation including biPAP and CPAP
• Implement neonatal skills such as Bubble CPAP, nitric oxide, and high frequency ventilation

Requirements of the NICU Respiratory Therapist

• 1+ years of Neonatal ICU or PICU Critical Care experience
• PALS certification
