Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,335 per week

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Towson, Maryland. Job Description & Requirements We need an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to provide high‑quality obstetric care, manage high‑risk deliveries, and support postpartum and neonatal patients in a 3x12‑hour night shift schedule. Responsibilities Assist with high‑risk deliveries and perform sterile speculum exams. Manage Cesarean sections and maternal/hemodynamic monitoring. Resuscitate neonates and administer medications such as Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, and Terbutaline. Use electronic fetal monitoring equipment, including intrauterine pressure catheter placement. Provide post‑partum and neonatal care in a community hospital setting. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (respiratory, pharmacy, interpretation, rapid response). Qualifications and Requirements Active Maryland RN license; must be in effect on the first day of assignment. Minimum 2 years of experience in high‑volume labor and delivery units (less experience considered if certifications and experience are strong). Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, NCC C‑EFM, AWHONN Intermediate, and valid anesthesia and obstetric certifications. Charge nurse experience preferred; community hospital experience valued. Charting system experience (Epic preferred); travel nursing experience a plus. Must comply with vaccination policies (including flu vaccine) and be able to work scheduled holidays. Job Details Location: Towson, Maryland. Start date: 07/06/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12‑hour shifts per week. Hours: 36 hours per week minimum.
