Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - CVOR to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and operative nursing care for cardiovascular surgery patients.


• Monitor and utilize GE Carescape equipment for vital signs and patient data.


• Facilitate patient preparation including IV starts, skin assessment, and hair removal.


• Assist in positioning, induction, and preparation for operative procedures.


• Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the Cerner system.


• Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team for comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.


• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.


• Proven experience in a critical care or pre-operative environment.


• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.


• Efficient in Cerner documentation and electronic health records.


• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity patient area.
