Material Handler

Level: Experienced Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Day Category: Warehouse

Job Purpose: Responsible for the safe and efficient movement and organization of materials within the warehouse.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading of trucks
• Checking materials into warehouse
• Operating a HILO to transport material for various reasons
• Organize materials on pallets by lifting and moving materials manually or with lifting equipment
• Data entry on company computer system
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Work with minimal supervision
• Follow required PPE, and all Company and Safety policies
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Special Knowledge/Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 – year work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Work Environment:

• Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and moving industrial vehicles. Noise level may be loud at times.
