Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Job Description Minnesota Oral and Facial Surgery is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dedicated team. Minnesota Oral and Facial Surgery is a surgical practice that is driven by delivering the highest quality and compassionate surgical care to its patients. Our practice is led by Deepak Kademani, a nationally recognized oral and maxillofacial surgeon and offers a broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery and head and neck surgery including cosmetic and trauma related facial surgery. Qualifications: Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Minnesota. Certification by the appropriate national certifying body (AANP, ANCC, NCCPA). Previous experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery, or a surgical specialty preferred. Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel to satellite offices. *New and experienced graduates welcome to apply Pre-Operative Assessment and Preparation: Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations. Order and interpret diagnostic tests Educate patients and their families about surgicalprocedures, expected outcomes, and post-operative care. Surgical Assistance: Assist surgeons during delivery of anesthesia and surgical procedures Post-Operative Care: Provide immediate post-operative care and including wound management Patient Management and Education: Counsel patients on pre- and post-operative instructions Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with surgeons Work collaboratively with another Nurse Practitioner. Travel to Satellite Offices: Periodic travel to our satellite offices Be available for shared on-call duties during weekends and evenings as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
