Sr. Financial Analyst

Position Summary The Senior Financial Analyst on the FSS FP&A team partners closely with business and finance leaders to own SG&A OpEx, with a strong focus on headcount and workforce planning. This role leads budgeting, forecasting, close, and analytics for assigned BUs, delivering clear insights, accurate forecasts, and proactive risks and opportunities. The analyst serves as a trusted advisor, builds scalable financial models, supports the adoption of new technologies (e.g., Power BI and planning tool implementations), and continuously improves processes while fostering collaboration, inclusion, and a culture of excellence. In addition to core FP&A responsibilities, this role will support digital finance initiatives across reporting, forecasting, and performance management. The Analyst will collaborate with Finance Transformation, IT, and Data teams to enhance FP&A tools, improve data quality, and assist in automating processes. This role will also contribute to expanding self‑service analytics capabilities to better support business decision‑making. Key Responsibilities Owning assigned business unit(s) operating expenses numbers and headcount. Developing and maintaining relationships with BU and BU finance leadership. Becoming the go‑to person for BU leaders on headcount and SG&A line items. Developing and maintaining financial models to support BUs decision‑making related to headcount and OPEX. Preparing periodic close files/packages. Managing workforce planning – headcount and employee cost budgeting. Soliciting and consolidating new information from all sources to update forecasts and improve accuracy. Proactively building or calling out risks and opportunities. Managing annual planning processes, communicating targets, creating budgets, and handling BU requests (bottom‑up). Keeping BUs master data, organization changes, and reporting dimensions updated. Troubleshooting issues in system or process and efficiently compiling required data for ad‑hoc asks. Leveraging data/analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) to phase out legacy Excel‑based files/reports/models. Assisting with other ad‑hoc analytics, projects, and requests. Being open to learning and asking for guidance. Finance Technology & Analytics Enablement Supporting adoption, standardization, and continuous improvement of FP&A processes. Gathering business requirements and translating them into reporting and analytics solutions. Contributing to the development and enhancement of FP&A reporting using FDP, Power BI, and enterprise tools. Identifying opportunities to automate recurring processes (e.g., forecasting support, variance reporting, distribution of reports) and helping with implementation. Leveraging AI‑enabled finance tools responsibly to improve efficiency and insight generation. Minimum Job Qualifications Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience. Preferred Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities) Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Microsoft Excel, and data analytics tools (intermediate Power BI skills, SQL a plus). Proficient in Microsoft Suite (advanced Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook). Experience working with FP&A systems – NetSuite ERP, SAP ERP, SAC. 5+ years of FP&A experience, with strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles. Experience generating management reports and SG&A budgeting/forecasting. Additional Knowledge and Skills Strong attention to detail, focus on accuracy, quality, and timely follow‑up. Solid data literacy, ability to evaluate data quality, consistency, and usability. Continuous improvement mindset, interested in simplifying and digitizing finance processes. Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to collaborate across teams.
