Maintenance Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Maintenance Supervisor

This position has supervisory responsibility for all 3rd shift maintenance staff. Responsibilities include the supervision of staff in the planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance, oversight of contractors, and completion of administrative tasks. Provide direction for employee and contractor activities to ensure on-time and on-budget completion of projects. This individual will participate in the interviewing, selection, hiring, training and development of new personnel. Additional responsibilities may include oversight of cleaning services, buildings and grounds maintenance activities, and storeroom management functions.

A strong industrial maintenance background, preferably in a foundry or other metal-working industry, is preferred along with experience leading projects and excellent maintenance problem solving skills. Prior experience in a maintenance lead or supervisory role is also preferred. Qualified candidates should have good communication skills, the ability to effectively interact with personnel in all levels of the organization, and the ability to prioritize rapidly changing demands. Formal education in a maintenance related field and strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) also desired.
