Project Controls Specialist

Responsibilities Establish WBS, and develop and maintain complex project schedules for various phases of the project Coordinate with necessary team members Develop and monitor project metrics Participate in project coordination meetings Conduct project site visits if applicable Conduct schedule baseline and schedule update reviews Develop cost estimates Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project controls work on engineering and construction projects (or equivalent), preferably including planning, estimating, forecasting, scheduling, cost control, schedule control, and project reports Certifications (one or more): PSP, PMP, PE, CM, EVP, PMI-SP, CST Ability to interpret construction schedules Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree The capability to actively progress knowledge in the areas of: Oral and written communication skills Interpersonal and leadership skills Coordination and prioritization of multiple long and short‑term tasks Organizational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture is a must Company Beliefs HDR is our company.
