Quality Assurance Technician 1st ShiftColumbia, SC, USAFull TimeFresh Express offers a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees which includes; health, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off, life insurance, wellness perks, and other voluntary benefits.1st Shift - 5:00AM - Until FinishThe Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for sampling, monitoring and auditing all production processes, documenting findings as required.Job Responsibilities:Evaluate and address issues with line during pre-op proceduresWork with sanitation crew to release lines during pre-op proceduresPerform and document all in-line checks on predesigned time schedulePerform and document process control testing sample collectionsAssists with FS lab duties as directed, including performing enrichmentsVerify packaging integrity by performing seal checksCollect controlled samples from each production runMonitor, correct and document GMP violations within facilityAssist QA management with Foreign Material inspections as neededAssist QA management with sample tests as neededTrain in all areas available for assigned shiftNotify supervisor of any quality defects present in product along process flowIdentify Food Safety Hazards and address appropriatelyOther duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:Previous quality experience preferredExperienced with computers, iPad technologyMust have a desire to achieve excellence in customer satisfaction, process, product quality, and reliability.Must be detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication.Flexible and open to changeSelf-motivated and result orientedPositive team playerHigh school diploma or equivalentSafety Requirements:Must be able to lift 50lbs+ using approved lifting techniquesMust be able to be on feet for extended periods of time in cold, wet environmentsMust be able to climb stairs regularlyMust be able to withstand heights of up to 10+ft for extended periodsOther Information:The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel so classified.
