About the Role

Scot Heller Trucking Company Inc. is looking for a reliable and safety-focused CDL Class B Dump Truck Driver to join our team in the Kansas City area.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced driver who takes pride in operating equipment safely, delivering materials efficiently, and being part of a dependable transportation team. The ideal candidate has experience hauling construction materials and understands the importance of safety, communication, and professionalism on every job site.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate a CDL Class B dump truck while following all DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Transport construction materials including asphalt, sand, rock, gravel, and other materials to job sites
• Load, unload, and properly secure materials while maintaining safe weight distribution
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely
• Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and required documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and job site personnel
• Follow assigned routes and complete deliveries efficiently and on schedule
• Maintain a clean and professional work environment
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B license required
• Previous dump truck or construction hauling experience preferred
• Clean driving record preferred
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe commercial vehicle operation
• Ability to safely operate around construction sites and heavy equipment
• Strong attendance, reliability, and work ethic
• Ability to communicate professionally with team members and customers
