Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position provides the opportunity to work full time in a supportive educational environment near Greensburg, PA. Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification for Pennsylvania (or eligibility)
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to student-centered instructional strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver differentiated lessons designed to meet each student’s unique needs
- Write, update, and monitor progress on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to foster inclusive learning environments
- Employ a variety of instructional techniques and assistive technologies
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school-based staff development
- Maintain accurate student records and adhere to all state requirements
