MRI Technologist

Location: Scranton, PA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, plus one 12-hour shift during the week, typically on Monday from 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM (may vary between Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday).

Job Description: The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures in a clinical setting. The professional will ensure the safety and comfort of patients while operating MRI equipment, maintaining high standards of image quality and patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and manage MRI scans for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all required safety protocols and guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1.5 years of MRI experience in a level 1 trauma hospital.
• Experience with Siemens 1.5T or 3T (Aera/Sola/Skyra/Vida) and Philips MRI systems.
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
