Job Description

ARE YOU THE EXCEPTIONAL AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN WE’RE LOOKING FOR?

Blazek Diagnostic & Automotive Repair is growing—and we’re searching for an experienced, diagnostically strong automotive technician to join our close-knit team in Garden City!

We take tremendous pride in accurate diagnostics, high-quality repairs, continued education, and treating our customers and employees with respect. Our shop is clean, professional, and well-equipped. We work hard, support one another, and still manage to have plenty of fun along the way!

What We’re Looking For:

The right candidate must have:

• A minimum of five years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician in a dealership or independent repair shop
(Automotive technical school does not count toward the five-year experience requirement.)
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Their own professional tools
• Reliable transportation
• A valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record
• A strong work ethic and dependable, team-oriented attitude
• A willingness to attend paid evening continuing-education classes approximately once every month or two

What We Offer:

• Highly competitive wages based on experience and ability
• 100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance premiums
• One week of paid vacation after one year of service
• Two weeks of paid vacation beginning at your three-year anniversary
• Paid federal holidays when our shop is closed
• Company-paid continuing education
• Uniforms and professional laundry service
• A clean, organized, and welcoming shop
• A supportive, close-knit team that feels like family

This isn’t just another technician position. It’s an opportunity to join a highly respected, family-operated shop where your knowledge, skills, and contributions will be genuinely valued.

Are you that special technician we’ve been looking for? We would love to meet you!

Please contact Tony or Darcy Blazek at Blazek Diagnostic & Automotive Repair

Blazek Diagnostic & Automotive Repair is a locally owned, family-operated shop built on the belief that people do their best work when they feel respected, supported, and genuinely valued. We are serious about accurate diagnostics, high-quality repairs, continued education, and doing what is right for our clients—but we are equally serious about taking care of the people who make that work possible. Our technicians are not simply handed jobs and expected to keep quiet; their experience, opinions, and ideas help shape how our shop operates and how we solve problems together.

We are a small, close-knit team that works hard, helps one another, and still finds reasons to laugh throughout the day. I want Blazek to be the kind of workplace where talented technicians can take pride in their work, continue developing their skills, and know that their contribution truly matters. We aren’t trying to become a large, impersonal corporate shop. We want to build something meaningful—with the right people beside us.
