The Opportunity

RoofLynx LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Roofing Project Manager & Field Operations Director to manage commercial and industrial roofing contracts across regional project sites in Charlestown and the Greater Louisville market.

In this central field and administrative leadership position, you will direct commercial roofing projects from pre-construction mobilization through sub-trade sequencing, material logistics, manufacturer warranty inspections, and final site closeout. Managing specialized roofing crews and subcontractors across single-ply (TPO, EPDM, PVC), modified bitumen, and standing seam metal installations, you will keep builds progressing safely, on schedule, and within budget parameters. Key Responsibilities

• Full Life Cycle Project Oversight: Manage commercial and industrial roofing builds from initial pre-construction planning, site mobilization, and safety setup through final punch-list closeout and warranty handovers.
• Schedule & Budget Management: Build, update, and enforce master project schedules, material takeoffs, labor budgets, and job-costing metrics using project management software.
• Subcontractor & Logistics Sequencing: Coordinate daily field labor, trade subcontractors, material deliveries, and specialized crane or heavy lifting equipment logistics.
• Stakeholder & Carrier Communication: Maintain clear, proactive communication with commercial building owners, general contractors, material suppliers, and internal executive leadership.
• Quality Assurance & Manufacturer Inspections: Conduct routine jobsite inspections to verify technical compliance, membrane heat-welding quality, flashing details, and manufacturer warranty standards.
• Scope & Change Order Documentation: Track daily site progress, weather delays, and scope alterations; process formal change orders and maintain audit-ready project files.
• Real-Time Field Troubleshooting: Lead real-time field problem-solving to address dynamic weather disruptions, structural deck challenges, and sequencing obstacles.
• Post-Project Financial Audits: Lead post-build operational and financial reviews to evaluate job profitability, labor efficiency, and process improvements.

What You Need to Succeed (Qualifications)

Required

• Industry Tenure: Minimum 5 years of dedicated construction experience, with heavy emphasis on commercial and industrial roofing project management.
• Technical Systems Knowledge: Deep familiarity with commercial single-ply roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC), elastomeric coatings, metal roofing, tear-off workflows, and manufacturer warranty guidelines.
• Organizational Mastery: Strong project management capabilities with a proven ability to manage multiple regional jobsites and changing site priorities independently.
• Software & Tech Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and digital construction management tools (e.g., Procore, AccuLynx).
• Mobility Credentials: Valid state driver license with complete willingness to travel to regional jobsites as required.
• Educational Foundation: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred

• Regional Network: Working relationships with commercial general contractors, property managers, and material vendors across Indiana and Kentucky.
• Safety Certifications: Active OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification.
