Renewyx have partnered with an established federal and commercial construction firm in Monterey, California to appoint a Program Manager.

Monterey occupies a distinctive position in the California construction market. A sustained concentration of federal investment, driven by government installations and institutions across the Monterey Peninsula, underpins a consistent and technically demanding pipeline of public sector construction work.

Alongside this, the Central Coast is experiencing steady commercial growth. The firm has built a strong reputation across both, and this appointment will play a central role in its continued program delivery.

A temperate Pacific coastline, proximity to Carmel and Big Sur, and access to the broader Bay Area technology and infrastructure corridor make this one of California's most sought-after postings for senior construction professionals.

The role:

The Program Manager will provide strategic oversight across a portfolio of federal and commercial construction projects, leading multi-project teams, managing government and private sector client relationships, and ensuring consistent delivery against program, budget, and quality benchmarks. This is a senior role with organization-wide visibility and direct executive exposure.

What you'll bring:

• Demonstrable programme or multi-project management experience within federal and/or commercial construction
• Working knowledge of federal contracting frameworks and experience managing government agency relationships
• Strong leadership capability across multi-discipline project delivery teams
• A consistent record of delivering complex construction programmes to schedule and budget

Nice to have:

• PMP, CCM, or equivalent professional certification
• Prior experience on NAVFAC, Army Corps of Engineers, or GSA-procured projects
