Staff RN - Emergency and Med-Surg Departments

This is a 13-week contract position.

Rotating days and nights, with shifts spanning weekdays, weekends, and holidays. The position involves 12-hour shifts, with coverage required every third weekend and holiday coverage based on rotation.

We are seeking a Staff RN to cover both the emergency department and med-surg department. Recent recognition as a Top 20 Critical Access Hospital highlights the quality of care provided.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the emergency and med-surg departments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in hospital initiatives and assist with quality improvement measures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Previous experience in emergency and med-surg settings is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required.
