Damar is currently seeking a Housekeeper to be provide consistent application of the highest health standards, ensuring that all residents reside in a safe, clean and healthy environment and that the building and equipment are maintained in such a manner as to comply with the State Board of Health’s rules and regulations, to ensure the health and safety of residents and employees. Available hours : 1st shift, Monday - Friday. No weekends!

This includes the ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods; occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs.; operate office equipment, including a computer keyboard; travel to other locations using private or commercial transportation; and communicate effectively to exchange information. The position also requires the ability to recognize and respond appropriately to client behaviors, staff instructions, safety concerns, and emergencies in an environment where individuals may display aggressive, self-injurious, sexually maladaptive, elopement, or other unpredictable behaviors. Regular and acceptable attendance, excluding approved absences and periods of leave, is also an essential function of the position.
