Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during procedures by explaining each step with sensitivity and clarity
• Collaborate seamlessly with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Accurately record procedures and maintain meticulous patient records in the electronic health record system
• Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound imaging technologies and optimal practices

Educational Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
